On May 12, American sports giant Nike accused American sports shoe trading platform StockX store of selling counterfeit goods, further escalating the recent legal dispute between the two parties.
Nike said it purchased four pairs of counterfeit Jordan Brand sneakers from StockX in the past few months, including a pair of pirated Jordan 1 “Chicago” sneakers sold through the StockX Vault NFT (non-fungible token) program. It is reported that this is also StockX’s best-selling NFT shoe.
